Repton Abu Dhabi Catalyses Educational Excellence with Abu Dhabi Teaching Conference 2024

Repton School Abu Dhabi has announced the successful conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Teaching Conference 2024, which brought over 600 educators to the Reem Island campus for a day of professional development, collaboration, and engaging student learning journeys.

Spanning 84 sessions across five educational principles: Pedagogy, Leadership, Digital Innovation, Well-being, and Pastoral and Inclusion; as well as Ministry of Education (MOE) subjects, the conference provided attendees with a dynamic array of innovative teaching methodologies to address current challenges and emerging trends in the UAE’s education sector. 

Highlights of the event included three enlightening keynote speeches from George Peterkin, Managing Director of Mind Your Health; Morgan Whitfield, dynamic senior leader and author of ‘Gifted? The Shift to Enrichment, Challenge, and Equity,’ and Olly Lewis, Co-founder of the award-winning EdTech platform – LearnLiveUAE and co-author of ‘The EdTech Playbook.’ Each keynote focused on students’ mental health, the importance of challenges in education and digital innovation in preparing for the future, respectively. Furthermore, three insightful panels, including Women in Education, Leading Impactful Education, and the Digital Innovation Panel, offered valuable perspectives on pressing issues educators face today.

The conference also featured 13 insightful sessions by Repton Abu Dhabi teachers, empowering attendees to incorporate innovative best practices and strategies in their classrooms, enriching the learning experiences of students across the UAE.
