Boys and girls are admitted to Repton School Abu Dhabi from 3 years old. We accept applications for FS1, FS2 and Year 1 – Year 6. We offer a British independent school curriculum which while incorporating elements of the English National Curriculum, is academically demanding and designed to extend and challenge our pupils.

As a British curriculum school, after the Foundation years (Nursery and Reception or FS1 and FS2) Repton follows the British system which eventually finishes at Year 13. Please click on the link below to see a comparison of ages for year groups in a twelve and thirteen year curriculum.

All prospective parents need to complete the online registration form, which constitutes the basis of your application to Repton School. You need to upload a copy of your child’s passport and a copy of their latest school report which shows the year group in which they have been studying.  Once you submit the form, one of our Admissions team will contact you to acknowlege receiving your application.

Please note that there is a section on the registration form which asks for details of any medical condition, disabilities or learning difficulties. You must disclose any factor which may affect your child’s ability to cope independently within the normal school situation. If your child has learning difficulties and has an IEP, this must be presented as part of the application. Failure to disclose any learning difficulties or medical conditions at the time of application may result subsequently in a place being withdrawn. Any offer made by the school is subject to being able to meet the individual needs of the child

Repton is an academically selective school and all children who are considered for a place are assessed. The intention of the assessment process is to evaluate a child’s potential for future success. We look for potential, not just specific to particular activities, but also in behaviour, attitude and character. The assessment process is carefully designed to be a fair measure of a child’s ability in a number of areas. All assessments are age appropriate.

We invite children to come and meet with us. Nursery and Reception (Foundation Stage) children come to a “play date” where they play with others in the school setting, demonstrating their linguistic, mathematical, social, physical and emotional readiness for school.  Assessment sessions for the Academic Year 2016 – 2017 will be held throughout the School year.

Admissions are currently OPEN for 2017/18. Please apply via our Online Application FormWe are currently conducting assessments for all pupils, in order of their date of application. Please contact us in case you have any queries on: admissions@reptonabudhabi.org or call on 02 – 5074888 / 5074880

More children will be assessed than the places available.  As a result, a place is not guaranteed despite assessment invitation and favourable results. Successful children who are not offered places will be placed on a “selected not offered” waiting list and the school will contact families as places become available.

The school year runs from September to June but we are able to admit pupils through the year if places are available, subject to ADEC regulations.
